What’s with war? 

The only question I have for our ancestors.

You didn’t know better,

We should have learnt by now.

 

Been here for 200 thousand years,

Yet not enough years to teach us to be human.

 

Those innocents wanted to grow up

Make this world a better place.

All that remains now is ashes 

You had no right over their life.

Oh well, you didn’t know better, 

We should have learnt by now.

 

Heard you’ve enough to fund those wars,

Yet not enough to feed those stomachs, 

Yet not enough to educate those minds, 

Yet not enough to cure those deadly diseases,

Oh well, you didn’t know better,

We should have learnt by now. 

 

What’s with wars? 

The only question the children have for us now.
